As a former Journal Editor …

... of a key peer-reviewed journal in my field, I saw and judged many papers. I also published papers myself, and work regularly as a reviewer for many journals. In my position as journal editor and reviewer, I realised that many of my fellow colleagues,(beginners as well as established researchers) struggled to get their papers published in journals. It became my passion to have a closer look at the manuscripts and analyse why many of the papers failed, and what the authors would need to do to get them accepted. In the 14 years since then, I have taught thousands of academics how to write and publish papers.
